Prince of Denmark

The Rochester Math School Players invite audiences of all ages to our amateur production of the play ' Prince of Denmark' by Micheal Lesslie- by special arrangement with Samuel French LTD.

Featuring students from Years 7 to Year 13 in two casts, Prince of Denmark is set in Elsinore about ten years before Shakespeare’s Hamlet, and features many of the same characters, just as much younger people!

We look forward to seeing you in the audience in show week; featuring other short pieces performed by younger students studying for their LAMDA drama exams as a prelude to the play.

Main School Hall - Dates and times:

Wednesday 5th, Thursday 6th and Friday 7th July at 7pm.

Doors open at 6.30pm.

Tickets are available in advance from reception or on the door.

It is a show full of teenage angst and rivalry – showing a range of emotions from love and romance to jealousy and rage.

There will be an interval after the LAMDA performances and refreshments will be on sale by the RMSA, who will be drawing the winning raffle tickets during the interval on Friday 7th July.

Come and support the students and help us fund future shows by bringing friends and family too, see you there!
