Home School Agreement
The School
We will:
1. provide a fulfiling and challenging education;
2. encourage every pupil to do his best;
3. provide a secure and caring environment;
4. promote the values of self-discipline, courtesy and responsibility;
5. provide a clear framework for discipline;
6. set homework regularly;
7. maintain a positive environment for learning;
8. communicate regularly with parents about pupils’ progress;
9. provide a range of extra-curricular activities;
10. maintain up to date resources for learning.
The Parent(s)
I will:
1. take an active interest in my son’s education;
2. encourage my son to do his best;
3. provide good facilities to help with homework;
4. support actively the school’s approach to discipline and standards;
5. accept responsibility for my son’s behaviour;
6. encourage my son to take a pride in his school and play his full part in
school activities;
7. contact the school at an early stage in the event of any problems;
8. attend parents evening and other school events;
9. support my son in extra-curricular activities;
10. ensure that my son attends school in accordance with the school’s policy.
The Pupil
I will:
1. do my best and show a positive attitude to learning;
2. complete work on time and to the best possible standard;
3. take an active part in extra-curricular activities;
4. take a pride in my appearance;
5. keep to the school rules;
6. exercise self-discipline and take responsibility for my actions;
7. show courtesy and respect to all members of the school community;
8. respect the school environment;
9. show a sense of pride in the school;
10. arrive on time and aim for 100% attendance.
